Ballet Folklórico de México with the LA Phil

Since its establishment in 1952, Ballet Folklórico de Mexico de Amália Hernández has been regarded as the country’s most revered traditional dance company. Bringing together lively movements and formations, colorful costumes, and bright music performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, this unique program celebrates the rich history and vibrant culture of Mexican folklore. Carlos Miguel Prieto, a longtime collaborator of Ballet Folklórico, leads the ensembles in works by Márquez, Moncayo, Revueltas, and more. Disney ’80s-’90s Celebration in Concert

Highlighting songs and clips from the iconic Disney films of the 1980s and 1990s, special guest singers join up with orchestra for unforgettable favorites from The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Mulan, Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Hocus Pocus, Newsies, A Goofy Movie, and so much more.
