EL MICHA, the internationally renowned artist of Cuban origin, will release his highly anticipated new album titled "Apartamento 33" on August 2, 2024. The album, heavily influenced by international urban trap and reggaeton, marks a significant milestone in EL MICHA's illustrious career. This new album was produced by the respected Puerto Rican producer, ECHO, Paul Irizarry, who has worked with Don Omar and other greats in the urban genre.
The album features a first single in the trap genre that will be released on June 7, 2024, titled "YEYO". What sets this album apart is the innovative release strategy that includes audiovisuals and music videos produced by Freddy Loons accompanying each single. This is a pioneering strategy for an artist of international stature, particularly from the Cuban community.
"Polvo Mágico" is the second single from the highly anticipated album "Apartamento 33" by ELMICHA, set to release on July 12. This track is a return to classic reggaeton, bringing the infectious rhythms and rhythmic flows that fans have come to love. Born in Havana, Cuba, Michael Fernando Sierra Miranda, better known as "El Micha," is one of the most respected and successful Cuban artists of the last decade. A multifaceted artist, ElMicha, is one of the ambassadors of Cubatón and is best known for his numerous collaborations.
His talent, lyrical skill, powerful voice, and charisma cement his position as one of the most popular artists of the last decade among fans and artists alike. In 2016, El Micha settled in Miami, FL, and signed a management contract with Jaime Cosculluela and Alejandro Quintana, and their company Rottweilas. In 2022, he debuted as the owner of his own record label Unplug Music Records, Inc., alongside his partner, financier, and successful entrepreneur, Diego Vizcon, who becomes his manager to take his career to the next level.
With this new beginning in his artistic journey alongside his representative Diego Vizcon, EL MICHA achieved a historic milestone by producing an album with the King Midas of Latin music, Emilio Estefan Jr., who created "PAL' MUNDO" with 12 singles that catapulted the Cuban artist's career.
