WILLIAM GARZA fue del Marshall del 72nd Annual Children’s Christmas Parade and Santa’s Village en South Gate, California


Parade Marshal William Garza, The “millennial” romantic Banda singer born in Monterrey, Mexico, represents current and future Latino generations. He has become a social media darling via his YouTube videos which have garnered over 13 million views of his songs including his break out hit ‘El Chango’( The Monkey) a highly infectious cumbia song.

The South Gate Children’s Christmas Lane Parade and Festival It’s the kick off to the Holidays in the South East Los Angeles Area. For 72 years this Parade route has created a venue to feature a captive audience of more than 10,000 South Gate residents and surrounding communities. Beyond the crowds along Tweedy Boulevard, the South Gate Children’s Christmas Lane Parade and Festival reaches an additional viewing audience via live broadcast online and pre-recorded TV special to be aired on December 17th and 24th 12:30-2:30pm on the local cable channel, thus expanding the viewing capacity.

Parade Route and Festival:
The parade route will be along the Tweedy Mile starting at California Avenue and ending at Hildreth Avenue and Tweedy Boulevard. The celebration will continue at Santa’s Village at South Gate Park with a Toy give away local music performances, TV and Radio personalities, food trucks, arts and crafts, train rides, interactive displays and fun for the whole family to enjoy.
