Maria COrina Ramirez - Complex's First Scripted Series - Grown

Venezuelan-American actress, writer, and producer, Maria Corina Ramirez's original work has been seen and commissioned in Miami, Los Angeles, NY and Latin America. She has starred in two NBC-Telemundo television series, two Cine Latino films, and over a dozen national campaigns. She most recently starred in and co-wrote on GROWN, alongside creative partner since college, Edson Jean. 

GROWN is a comedy about two dichotomous twenty-something cousins who are forced to cohabitate while trying to figure out their respective shit. From the authentic perspective of two young Haitian-Americans, Grown is a narrative about fatherlessness and trying to figure out how to be a man, set in the diverse cultural backdrop of inner-city Miami. GROWN is from Adaptive Studios, an Emmy®-winning entertainment studio creating premium content for digital and traditional platforms and Complex Networks.
