Her
music pulls from real experiences lived between moving from Spain to London to
Berlin to Los Angeles over the last couple of years. Basking in her
metropolitan mindset, speaking four languages and a citizen of nowhere in
particular, Sofi is freshly global.
Sofi is a hands-on
kinda girl, getting involved in all elements of the creative surrounding her
music crafting beautiful shot, hazy images and writing honest and engaging
lyrics.
All of her tracks
have been written and produced with her long-term Finnish producer Jonas Karlsson including her past successes, the first being ‘Vermillion’ which saw her garner support from Billboard, TIME Magazine and The Guardian whilst the songs on Sofi’s debut album ‘Mess’ received
praise from I-D , Complex, Nylon, Pop Justice among many.
Her biggest success up to date is
Flex Your Way Out ft.
Blackbear,
which converted her plaudits into her most impressive online play count yet of
over 12 million hits across Spotify, Apple Music,YouTube and Soundcloud.
Her latest single Voicebreaks (December 2018) got premiered by Majestic Magazine and Idolator.
ESTAMOS MAL is
her first one in Spanish. Originally written and produced as part of a side
project, the result convinced Sofi to choose it as her next release. Her second
single "Pero No" will be
released on July 19th.
